New Meditations, however, is a GREAT album. I'm a huge Coltrane fan, and I enjoy Interstellar Space, Sun Ship.....most of his later work. But Ascension and Meditations are.....well, they strike me as unmitigated anger. I'll catch flak for this, I'm sure....but there you go. This and Ascension are two that I have difficulty with. New Meditations, however, is a GREAT album.
