III Records

III Records is a record label based in Japan. Founded in 1999 and dedicated to issuing music from jazz to classical with focus on avant-garde and experimental directions. The label’s list of artists includes OGOGO, Igor Grigoriev, Drea Courtney, Rod Oakes, Kyoto Wajima, and Ira Schulman.

In and Out Records

IN +OUT Records is an independent jazz label based in the university city of Freiburg in south-west Germany. Its founder and CEO, Frank Kleinschmidt, named the company after a 1964 Blue Note album by Joe Henderson for which he had a great affection. “Our aim,” says Kleinschmidt, “is to produce innovative contemporary jazz music recorded with state-of-the art fidelity.”

Incus Records

Incus Records is an artist owned record label, founded by Derek Bailey, Tony Oxley, Evan Parker and Michael Walters, specialising in the dissemination of free-improvised music.

Innova Recordings

Innova Recordings is the independent record label of the non-profit American Composers Forum, based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It was founded in 1982 as a way to document the winners of the McKnight Fellowship offered by its parent organization, the Minnesota (now (American) Composers Forum.

Interplay Jazz

Interplay Jazz is actually a music school where there is “typically one mentor/master teacher for every five students and teachers on a wide variety of instruments (piano, bass, drums, guitar, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, cello, voice), students receive lots of personal attention and guidance.” However, it also functions as a record label featuring artists like Fred Haas, Paul Broadnax, and Gene Bertoncini.

Interstate Music LTD

Interstate Music Ltd. has been releasing many genres of music for more than 25 years. Their jazz labels include Harlequin (Latin American, Tango, Jazz, and Spike Jones) and Jazzband (vintage jazz).

Intuition Music

Intuition Music was founded in Cologne in 1995. Intuition initially handled mainly jazz and world music before expanding into the fields of progressive pop and ambient music, covering also the stunning multitude of styles, blends and colours that form the islands and bridges between these genres.
