HOW TO CHECK IF THE PROBLEM IS YOUR CD PLAYER
How do you check to see if this is the case? Well, you check your CD on a player that works! If the CD plays perfectly, you know what the problem is. Go out and buy a new CD player!
If you prefer a CD changer, especially one that plays randomly so you don’t get bored, here is a well reviewed one, the Sony SCD-CE595 5-Disc CD/Super Audio CD Player. For more information, hover over the product picture. (Actually, you might as well get a CD changer–they aren’t really any more expensive than the single CD kind).
THE BEST SOLUTION
Actually, the best solution is to have a CD changer to play your CDs on, and to have a DVD player to play movies on that also plays store bought CDs AND the CDRs that you burn on your computer. That way, you have a convenient reference “CD player” on hand to check your “defective CDs” with, to make sure the problem is not with your dedicated multiplatter CD player.
Here is the best reviewed DVD player that doubles as a CD player that I could find, the Philips DVP 5140 Multi Region Codefree DVD Player. For more information, hover over the product picture.
By the way, this DVD player will also play DVDs from any region in the world, if you happen to be into international cinema.
Okay, but what if my CD player is not at fault?
Okay, your CD isn’t playing correctly and we’ve established that the CD player is not at fault. What do you do?
